More often than not, this time of year finds me pretty much glued to the eyepiece of my trusty camera, taking photos of kids, babies and families. It is a lot of work, and at times I feel overwhelmed, but right now I'm overwhelmingly GRATEFUL for the trust these kind people place in my care. I KNOW how hard it is to have your photos taken...very few people actually "look forward to it" and most (especially families with little people) consider it more of a chore than something they get excited about. But, almost to a "T," I like to think that after we spend an hour or so together, most of my clients feel like I do at the end of a session: that it was FUN!
So while I am exhausted and certainly turning a blind eye to the dust bunnies chasing each other up and down the halls of my home, I am grateful for my clients, and for this amazing "job" that I SO LOVE!

This morning, I grabbed my girls and set off for a quick few snaps for OUR holiday cards. At the last minute, we grabbed some of our best friends' girls and decided to include them in the fun. The younger of the two is my youngest's BFF...and they are great kids! Love them!
